Pray like this: Our Father who is in heaven, uphold the holiness of your name. Bring in your kingdom so that your will is done on earth as it’s done in heaven. Give us the bread we need for today. Forgive us for the ways we have wronged you, just as we also forgive those who have wronged us. And don’t lead us into temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
Matthew 6:9–13 CEB
You, God, are not just my Father, but you’re the Lord of all. We give honor and praise to you for you alone are holy and set apart. Show us how to live in your kingdom here and now, yet prepare for the future. For our physical and relational needs, we depend on you for provision. We receive forgiveness from you so we can extend it to others. And we ask for rescue from temptation and evil.
